Elms Farm, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire
🗓️ 1 Night, August 2026
💰 £25 per night
Facilities: ⚡️
✅ We recommend the site.
We’re now back from a one-night stay at Elms Farm in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, and we thought we’d share our thoughts! 🏕️
The site is really well laid out, with serviced pitches and electric hook-up included in the £25 nightly price. We stayed in the middle of August 2026 and, for the price, we were impressed with the setting.
There’s also a little “Shop in a Box” — a very basic honesty-box-style shop in a horsebox trailer, which is a nice little touch.
But the views are absolutely incredible! 😍 The site is fairly flat, and you get some beautiful scenery during the day. You can also see the railway line and occasionally watch the trains go past. They’re far enough away that they didn’t cause us any disturbance or noticeable noise pollution.
And at night… wow! 🌟 We had an incredible view of the stars, making for a really peaceful evening.
One downside for us was the lack of toilet and shower facilities. We feel this is a real shame, particularly when the site charges £25 per night.
Overall, we do recommend Elms Farm if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic stop with great views and you have your own facilities.
However, despite enjoying our stay, we won’t be visiting again.
⭐️ Our verdict: Beautiful location, fantastic views, but the lack of facilities means it’s not quite for us to go back.
