January 2026:

Olive Update

Unfortunately, we have some bad news. Olive is going to require some immediate work when the weather starts to be a bit kinder to us all. This is our first winter with her and unfortunately, she's in a bad way. 

We have found moisture under the rear fixed bunk and in particular, a wooden slat will almost definitely need replacing. We are unsure whether this dampness is coming in through the crack in the awning rail, or under the window associated with the bottom bunk; where ever it's coming from - it needs to be addressed. 

Obviously, we're pretty devastated about our findings, but we will keep you updated with any and all progress as it happens.

January 2026:

Tiktok Account

Honestly, this decision has been a fairly easy one to make. We prefer Insta over Tiktok. We are documenting our journey, not wanna be influencers. I have another tiktok account which I post everything to, so I don't need another account. Details of this account can be found on our official Tiktok notice post (whilst the account remains up).

I will continue to post content on our Touring_With_Olive Insta account. Our tiktok account will remain up until I am certain the right people have seen the post.

Health Update

As you're all probably mostly aware of; I suffer with several chronic illness conditions which are life-limiting and debilitating. Unfortunately, I am being kept a close eye on at the moment as something pretty serious is on the horizon. I do need more diagnostic tests before an accurate diagnosis can be made; I will say though that I've recently had tests (you'll have seen this via Insta stories) and that those tests were conclusive, but I need more check ups and tests to confirm what is suspected. If this is the news we all expect it to be, an operation and recovery is imminent.
